Digital Print?

Artwork can be digitally printed and applied to the garment using high heat. Vinyl printing produces vivid colours, crisp lines and a spectacular finish. 

Heat transfer is the printing method of applying specialty vinyls to garments through a heat press. This vinyl can be applied as a single layer or it can be layered for complex designs.

They produce high-quality results on almost any kind of fabric. Choose from a wide range of colours, and have numbers or lettering cut out using our digital vinyl plotter. We can also provide special colour finishes: gloss, metallic, reflective, fluoro and glitter.

We will work closely with you to match the right clothing and branding solution.

Design & Cutting

Our team works on your design and ensures that it has a clean vector outline that can be read by the cutter. The vinyl colour of your choice is then loaded into the machine and our computer scores your design perfectly.

Weeding

Your design is then manually weeded by our team, and is prepped for pressing. "Weeding" is the process of removing parts of the transfer that are unnecessary in order to remove the negative space from your design. This includes inside the letters.

Heat Application

Heat press is used to attach and permanently affix the weeded design to the garment. Once the cutting and weeding has taken place, the design is then pressed with and industrial heat press.

  • Clear crisp adhesion of design via the heat transfer process

DISADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PRINT & TRANSFER

  • The print itself has a distinct plastic feel, so it's best suited to smaller designs, not for use on an entire garment.
  • Due to cutting process, vinyl transfers are not ideal for designs with rough or jagged lines.
  • Exposure to hot irons can damage the printed transfer.
